Many options are available with Cremation. The options that are involved with cremation rely solely on how the individual wishes for its use. Options:

• Direct Cremation. Removal of deceased from place of death and then taken directly to the crematory.



• Cremation with Memorial Service. Direct Cremation followed by a Memorial Service at a Church or in the Funeral Home.

The Burial for a cremation again is another option. Some people choose to have their cremated remains held by a spouse or family member or to have the Funeral Home keep the cremated remains to have their burial with a Spouse, family member or friend at a later date.

Personalizing A Funeral

Personalization helps the bereaved to focus on the life lived as apposed to the life lost. Things that offer personalization are the use of pictures, special verses or readings, the selection of music for the funeral/memorial service, and also the people who act as pallbearers, readers or other rolls in the service.

At Slade's Funeral Homes we offer a variety of stands and magnetic boards for pictures or the use of wall space to hang pictures. We also provide any stands for the placement of special items such as awards, mementos or things that a person may have made or received.
