Mrs. Janet Hiscock of Carbonear, who passed away peacefully at the age of 84 with her loving family by her side at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, October 5, 2017. 


She leaves to mourn her loving family:


Daughters: Beverly (Shawn) Leybourne, Diane (Kevin) Parsons & Beverley Karagianis

Grandchildren: Tyler (Randi) Parsons, Devon Parsons, Brittany Leybourne, Chelsea Leybourne, Andrew (Allie) Karagianis, David Karagianis & Heather Karagianis  

Great Grand Children: Hailey Parsons & Jace Parsons

Brothers: Nigel (Marguerite) Drover & Lloyd (Phyllis) Drover

Sister: Jean (Guy) Chislette 

Special Niece: Elizabeth Mercer

Sister-in-Law: Violet Drover, Evelyn Batten & Margie (Harold) Hancock

Brother-in-Law: Eli Dowden

Serving Carbonear, Upper Island Cove, Bay Roberts and areas.                                        

Service Information:

 The funeral service will take place at Bethany United Church, Carbonear with interment to follow at the Interfaith  Cemetery, Carbonear, on Monday, October 9, 2017, 2 P.M.  

Visitation Times:

The Family will be receiving relatives and friends at SLADE’S FUNERAL HOME POWELL DRIVE, CARBONEAR between the hours of Saturday: 7- 9 P.M., Sunday: 2-5 P.M. & 7- 9 P.M. & Monday: 10:30 A.M. -  12 Noon.


In lieu of flowers,  donations may be made in her loving memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
