Les Mitchell

Mr. Harrison Deering of Shearstown passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, March 4, 2018.  Mr. Deering was 87 years old.  


He leaves to mourn his loving family:

Sons: Watson (Frances) Deering, Chris (Annie) Deering, John (Nicole) Deering, Scott Deering & Dennis (Mildred) Sparkes

Daughters: Hilda (Nick), Betty (Randell), Donna (Gary), Judy (Calvin), Jamie, Betty Rose (Tom) & Annette

25 Great Grandchildren

3 Great Great Grandchildren

Brothers: Jim Deering, George Deering, Walter Deering & Johnny Deering

Sisters: Maine Sheppard & Jane Deering

And a large circle of family & friends

Service Information:

The Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from St. Mark’s Anglican Church & Cemetery, Shearstown.

Visitation Times:

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at SLADE'S FUNERAL HOME, L.T. STICK DRIVE, BAY ROBERTS, on Tuesday: 2 P.M - 9 P.M., Wednesday: 10:30 A.M.- 9 P.M. & Thursday: 10:30 A.M. – 12 Noon.
