Les Mitchell

On April 8th, 2018, Joan Fitzpatrick (Penney) of Carbonear, formerly of Salmon Cove, passed away at Carbonear General Hospital, with her family by her side.   


She leaves to mourn:

Husband: James Fitzpatrick

Daughters: Colleen (Trevor) Somers, & Lucy Fitzpatrick

Sons: Jamie (Michelle) Fitzpatrick & Scott (Jennifer) Fitzpatrick

Special Grandson: Devon (Jess) Fitzpatrick

Grandchildren:   Jason & Carlene Fitzpatrick, Daniel, Joelene & Jacob Dooley

Great Grandchildren: Brooklyn, Scarlet & Kellen

Brothers: Derrick (Vera) Penney, Sterling Penney & Willis (Christine) Penney

Special Brother-in-laws: Richard (Charlene) Rogers & Bern (Irene) Fitzpatrick

Nieces & nephews

Special Friends: Anna, Betty, Val & Georgie

And a large circle of family & friends

Sister: Lucy Joan Penney

At Mrs. Fitzpatrick’s request, cremation has taken place. Committal service to take place Friday, April 13, 2018 at 2 P.M. at Riverside United Church Cemetery, Salmon Cove. 


In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in her loving memory to Daffodil Place.
