Carbonear

Centrally located in Carbonear, Slade's Funeral Home located on Powell Drive is in the middle of the town. Our Carbonear facility was constructed in 1993 with ample parking, easily accessible for wheelchairs, and a main level layout for easy access to all of our facilities. Our Funeral Homes were constructed to enable the families we serve to feel that they are in the comfort of their home. We believe that our facilities are for the families to which we provide our services which is why we took great care and paid particular attention to its detail so that our facilities cater to everyone.

Our facilities are spacious with a large foyer constructed so that Families and friends can mingle. We didn't want our buildings to be so that when you immediately walked through the door you were looking at the deceased. We know that some people like to come to the funeral home to pay their respects to the family but aren't comfortable with viewing the deceased.

Our large Visitation rooms also offer comfort and help the bereaved to not be overwhelmed by the situation or a lot of people.
