Walter Bishop


Walter Bishop passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on July 19, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Walter was born on June 17, 1936 to Henry and Priscilla Bishop of Upper Island Cove.


Leaving to cherish his memory:

Children: Barbara (Dave), Aiden (Sylvia) & Donna (Neil)

Grandchildren: Bradley, Blair (Victoria), Janelle (Brandon) & Sarah

Brothers & Sisters: Harry, Winston (Judy), Mildred (Ray) Smith, Iris (Winston) Adams) & Rosiland (Arthur) Drover

Brothers-in-law: Walter (Mary) Greeley & Dave (Olive) Greeley

Sister-in-law: Louise Bishop

Service Information:

The Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 from St. Peter’s Anglican Church & Cemetery, Upper Island Cove.

Visitation Times:

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, Cranes Road, Upper Island Cove on Saturday: 8-9 P.M., Sunday & Monday: 10:30 A.M.-9 P.M. and Tuesday: 10:30 A.M.-1:15 P.M.
